Overall Description:
In our sessions, we will work together as a team to explore what has brought you to therapy. I recognize that every individual is unique, so I tailor my approach to suit your specific needs. I believe that every client is an expert in their own life story, and so my goal is to meet you where you are by providing a warm, nurturing environment. With this foundation, we can collaboratively work towards understanding your challenges and creating a path forward that feels authentic and empowering for you.
Experience:
Before moving to the United States, I worked in India as a Play Therapist, Counselor, and Remedial Educator, supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. I was deeply moved by the courage and resilience children showed and how they naturally thrived through play. Over time, I developed a strong connection with the children I worked with, and this experience solidified my passion for the field. I also collaborated closely with parents to create tailored intervention plans that addressed emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
After moving to the U.S., I expanded my experience by working with older adults, couples, and families, which deepened my understanding of individual differences and the complexities of human relationships. This broader exposure helped me appreciate how cultural backgrounds, life transitions, and personal experiences shape each person’s journey. I enjoy working with this population, helping them navigate challenges, build meaningful connections, and foster personal growth. My approach is rooted in empathy, cultural awareness, and the belief that every individual has the innate capacity to heal and grow.
