Description:

Shruti is a warm, intuitive, and multilingual therapist who brings a calm, grounded presence to her work with her clients. She has experience working with clients across a wide range of ages (6–65+) and from diverse backgrounds, including varied cultures, ethnicities, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic experiences. Many individuals, parents, and couples feel disconnected from themselves, from one another, or from the version of life they hoped to be living. Anxiety, parenting stress, and relationship tension can leave people feeling reactive, exhausted, or unsure how to move forward together.

Shruti’s approach centers on attunement, compassion, and collaboration. She draws from IFS, EFT, and mindfulness-based practices to help clients slow down, understand their emotional patterns, and develop more supportive ways of relating- both internally and in their relationships.

Clients often experience greater emotional safety, improved communication, and a renewed sense of connection after working with Shruti. Parents feel more confident responding to their children, and couples gain tools to navigate conflict with curiosity and care.

Meet Shruti:

“I work with individuals, parents, and couples seeking greater emotional balance and connection. I have developed a particular strength in couples therapy, using Emotionally Focused Therapy with flexibility and warmth. I also have a passion for supporting parents whose children / teens / young adults are navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, and the evolving challenges of different developmental stages. Because I believe in the healing power of community throughout the journey of parenthood, I offer four different groups to help parents build emotional resilience and manage stress.

I am especially attuned to the needs of South Asian individuals, parents and families seeking culturally informed and responsive care.

I am a mother of two young children, and I deeply value spending time outdoors with my kids, exploring nature together. I believe that caring for our emotional health is a lifelong practice, and I prioritize my own learning and growth through yoga, meditation, breathwork, and mindfulness. These practices inform both my personal life and the grounded presence I bring into the therapy room each day, with each client I have the honor of supporting. I hope I have the honor of supporting you.”
