Background:

Linda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong commitment to compassionate and ethical care.  She is passionate about helping clients resolve dissonance between beliefs and experiences, restore interpersonal relationships to wholeness and create empowerment by strengthening internal and external supports. She understands the intrinsic drive – as well as the potential struggle – present in the lives of children, teens, and whole families during the growth process. She sincerely enjoys supporting children and adults as they navigate social/emotional issues, stress, anxiety, anger and depression. No one treatment approach is right for everyone, therefore Linda includes different treatment modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), Strength-Based Approach, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Technique, Sandtray, and Play Therapy (for young children) to help reach treatment goals.

Through her work in the military and with Rape Trauma Services, Linda brings a broad experience encouraging and corroborating with people to find hope and healing from complex trauma, sexual abuse, and PTSD symptoms.

Linda states: “It is important to provide a safe space for clients to share their pain and to experience a healing environment of support. It is my goal to meet you where you are with deep respect, to support you gently in your journey towards inner freedom, and offer unconditional positive regard as you grow in self-awareness. It is my belief that this safe and healing environment will transform your relationship with yourself and others.”
