What is ReParentive® Therapy?
Growing Ourselves Whole is a highly impactful, ten-week therapy group for adult clients with a loved one with Borderline Personality Disorder, which Pamela has led thirteen times.
Clients and therapists alike report that the group equates to many years worth of therapy. In order to operationalize the modality for other therapists, Pamela developed ten ReParentive Principles, nine Buckets of Healing, and trademarked the term ReParentive for educational and therapeutic use. As ReParentive Therapy has evolved, it has proven effective and applicable to wider spheres, including any clients with developmental trauma.
This weekend retreat will introduce you to ReParentive Therapy experientially and theoretically: via somatic and group experientials drawn directly from the therapy group, woven together with didactic sessions which explain ReParentive Therapy’s core insights and approach to developmental trauma. Simultaneously, every aspect of the retreat delivers the essence of ReParentive Therapy by tending to your nervous system. The mindful and attuned pacing supports your learning and integration. The intention is for you to return to clients on Monday morning feeling personally resourced and equipped with new tools and insights.

What People Are Saying About Pamela's ReParentive Groups:
“I have had several patients complete Pamela’s group. This is truly a pivotal experience for people who carry great suffering and damage from childhood. Anyone wanting to work with people who suffered from emotionally immature or abusive families will gain tremendous experience in how to reach these patients and truly transform their healing process.” - Ben Elitzur, MD
“Just wanted to say how lovely it was to get a little bit more of your work with Saturday’s training. Your passion is contagious. I was struck by the safety you created and how you held us. I found it so telling how vulnerable folks got so quickly. There were such sweet people gathered, and I felt the power of that community in just that little virtual group! It felt clear why gathering in groups around this specific type of attachment wounding is powerful—you could feel it just in this little Zoom training.
I hope to take your training in the future!!” – Mary M, Psychotherapy Graduate Student
