Anxiety Group

With tools, it can get a lot easier!

For older teens / young adults: Ages 16 - 25+ Wednesdays 6:45-8pm, starts Fall 2022 Meets weekly, Online, $100 per class Ongoing, minimum 8-week requirement With Andrea Throndson, MFT Andrea Throndson, Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, will offer you tools to cope with anxiety. She will help you work with the internal experience of worry with evidence-based practices, including:
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tools
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions
  • Self-Compassion curriculum
She will also weave in themes of finding meaning and purpose in times of stress and anxiety. This group will offer a safe space for you to practice self-care, learn to nourish yourself and treat yourself - including any anxious parts of you - with kindness and respect. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to create inner and outer boundaries, since overextending ourselves often sets off our limbic system and increases our experience of anxiety. Our invitation for you is to join us in this journey of healing and wholeness. If you are interested in enrolling, you can request a free 20 min consultation with Andrea at: andrea@mcaft.com
